I will hunt a feeder for hogs or when I take the kids, otherwise I am too restless to set in a stand for too long. I doubt I shoot as much as most people but I still have fun.

I'll hunt however I need to to kill a big buck! On feeders or off them! It depends on the place i'm hunting.Hunting pressure and other conditions dictate how I hunt!

I suck as a hunter or maybe Im just too lazy these days. I hunt feeders and food plots. When the pre rut is here, I do get out and walk and rattle till I cant anymore. Now that is the fun stuff.

Each one of these deer is standing directly beneath a corn feeder. I have never cared what that buck's IQ on my wall is, I only care how tasty his backstraps were and how good he looks on my wall.
Those are some pretty dumb looking deer

I do both. however right now I am seeing so many hogs its not funny.
only 1 small buck on the hand thrown corn. not less then 8 hogs up to 15 at a time.
looks like its hog time this early in the season lol

I hunt hand corned trails at Lake Gtown. When I hunt South Dakota, it's all trails and food source stands.

I could care less how anyone hunts. I asked who didn't hunt feeders. Good luck to you this weekend!

When I'm on public which is the majority of my season...you cant even bring handcorn but when I get offered to hunt other spots there is often a feeder nearby (not high fence) and I get to dole out the handcorn.

By the way the Texas State record known as the Taylor Buck came into feeders.... Here's a picture of him at my feeder in broad daylight.

It depends on where I am hunting. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Certainly don't have a problem with it.

If you claim big bucks don't come to feeders or mature does anywhere in Texas, it shows you haven't hunted many places. I've seen 180" mature bucks at feeders as well as little fork horns. In east texas, I never saw a deer at a feeder.
