Hammer me, I have paid good money to this site and supported it since 2007. Never had an infraction. I am sure I am off to the cooler now, but sometimes things need to be said.

Your memory is poor. We allowed the CFB discussions at the start of last year, not the end. Please get the facts straight.

Nice win over TCU. Terrible game on all accounts, but a W is a W. I think Kingsbury can build something there. Please beat Texas. Thanks.

Heard some Tech fans leaving the game wanting Alabama to come on since they had just thought they had won the NC by beating TCU. TCU could not get out of their own way and the refs were terrible. In my opinion, they completely changed the score and possibly outcome of this game. The penalty on the "interference with a fair catch" was bogus at best. He ran between 2 of his own teamamates and was tripped by one of them. The "adult" Tech fans I have talked to since the game have all agreed on the refs being horrible and the call on the PR.
KK brings a lot to that team.....you can see that for sure, he's a winner and I'm glad we had him for a little while.

What's even funnier is the Ags that are praising the 'Bama defense that just gave up over 600 yards and 42 points. That's poor even by Big 12 standards. I suppose some of you will hesitate to say "defense wins championships" - well, unless LSU proves otherwise.

Props to Evans, though - not many receivers could make some of those catches. Granted, Saban spotted him a couple quickies with the press coverage and no back side support, but still Evans looked good. I was kind of surprised that Saban let that happen twice.

As far as missed calls go, there were plenty to go around. The targeting call where the 'Bama corner led with his shoulder and hands, never lowered his helmet and, rightly, was not ejected was as bogus a call as any I saw tonight. The play where Manziel threw it up for grabs was worth at least 2 flags on the Ags - 1st the Aggie lineman who pushed Bama lineman from behind after JFD escaped and then the receiver who shoved the corner out of the way an then made the catch.

Oh well, plenty of games left and lots to cheer for no matter who your team is.
Alabama would prolly dang near shut out any big 12 team you put on the field..........whose your favorite team ?

@EyeOnCFB: Oh. RT @Jake_Trotter: Hugh Freeze said the Texas defensive scheme was exactly the same as last week except for one goal line wrinkle

The X factor for Tech is Kingsbury and they are definitley playing lights out for him. They are starting a walkon freshman QB and it showed Thursday night, but TCU put pressure on him and he still produced a win along with some help from Webb and the "D". I firmly believe they will build a good if not great program with KK if they give him a chance. Thye are young and will get better as time goes on, but thye are going to face some tougher teams in OU, OSU Baylor and a few others, but who knows, thye may end up winning 8 to 10 games if things fall right. KK has sure energized the Lubbock faithful and theat is good to see for the university and city. Definitley do not hear anyone missing TT since he left!

I agree mudslinger. KK looks promising for the TT fans....young and full of energy. He brings a lot to a program imo.

Kk is the perfect fit for them. They will get better but there will be growing pains

Tech is very young, but KK should have them ready to play each and every week. It will be interesting to watch. My wife had an absolute blast at the game. The first college game we had been to in 30 years! Might have to go to a few more. We were not pulling for Tech at this game as we were sitting with her cousin as he has a son playing for TCU (that is how we got tickets). His son did not play as he is a freshman and they are trying to keep his redshirt. He played and Denton Guyer and is a backup offensive lineman.

I was at Kyle Field. The loudest game I've ever been to. Congrats to Bama. The better team won. It breaks my heart, but it's the truth. Man what I wouldn't give for a defense.

Good one! And for the record, Baylor. "Shut out" - that's hilarious or drug induced: Seriously, stick with your day job. If I didn't know better, I'd almost think you were joking.
