Originally posted by Mudslinger View PostTech is very young, but KK should have them ready to play each and every week. It will be interesting to watch. My wife had an absolute blast at the game. The first college game we had been to in 30 years! Might have to go to a few more. We were not pulling for Tech at this game as we were sitting with her cousin as he has a son playing for TCU (that is how we got tickets). His son did not play as he is a freshman and they are trying to keep his redshirt. He played and Denton Guyer and is a backup offensive lineman.

Holy crap, Texas sucks. Hard to believe that such a team and program is representing the great State of Texas. It's just not right. It seems a culture of softness and mediocrity has manifested itself. I won't be surprised to see Texas play scared and get rolled by OU yet again, as Stoops almost certainly goes to 10-5 against Brown.
Frankly, bringing a loser like Greg Robinson into the program ought to be grounds enough to can Brown. Dude mostly sucked for 9 out of the past 10 years that he coached.
I'm a Notre Dame guy and really couldn't care less about Texas or A&M, but seeing the continual underachievement of the Texas football program the past 3+ years is just sad to watch. These guys are getting paid big bucks to do much better and they are failing miserably. Texas stock is down, big time. Unfortunately, I see more embarrassment to come.
If OU throttles them again maybe it will expedite the process. I can't recall a program that pulled out of a death spiral like this recently without a coaching change.Last edited by Vermin93; 09-15-2013, 01:03 AM.

Only two chances of losing..... To LSU "And I am not sold on that young LSU defense. Especially the secondary that is playing freshmen."
Or, maybe in the SEC championship should they play Ga. again.

LSU's group of running backs are as good as any. Four backs that would start for a lot of teams across America. And, two fullbacks that are pure beasts. They have two VERY good receivers and their QB is a lot better than what they have had in years.
Their offensive line is also pretty dang good.
It's their young defense that will give them the biggest issues this year. I think Ga, Bama, Ole Missy, and ATM will give them a hard time.
Can they beat these teams? Sure. But, these same teams are also very capable of exposing that young defense. With a schedule as tough as LSU has this year I see these young guys hitting a wall and injuries along the way taking it's toll.Last edited by Bayouboy; 09-15-2013, 05:44 AM.

Before this thread ends, and this is no way had any bearing on the outcome, can someone who watched the A&M game on TV explain the "participation without a helmet" penalty? They did not show a replay on the big screen, and we were all screaming for a hands to face flag on Bama. For all you Johnny haters....... He may be a thug, but he's OUR thug! That guy is little man among boys on the field. I watched his 550+ in person and still don't know how he does it.
