The only tough game Bama and A&M have left is LSU. LSU still has Georgia, A&M, Florida and Bama it's going to be interesting how the rest of the season plays out!

That's the we way like it. Let others on this site with inflated egos of their football accomplishments look silly while they thump their chests from 1930 something championships. I guess those of us who are fans of Big 12 programs don't have to worry about hearing about SEC defenses anymore!
What's even funnier is the Ags that are praising the 'Bama defense that just gave up over 600 yards and 42 points. That's poor even by Big 12 standards. I suppose some of you will hesitate to say "defense wins championships" - well, unless LSU proves otherwise.
Props to Evans, though - not many receivers could make some of those catches. Granted, Saban spotted him a couple quickies with the press coverage and no back side support, but still Evans looked good. I was kind of surprised that Saban let that happen twice.
As far as missed calls go, there were plenty to go around. The targeting call where the 'Bama corner led with his shoulder and hands, never lowered his helmet and, rightly, was not ejected was as bogus a call as any I saw tonight. The play where Manziel threw it up for grabs was worth at least 2 flags on the Ags - 1st the Aggie lineman who pushed Bama lineman from behind after JFD escaped and then the receiver who shoved the corner out of the way an then made the catch.
Oh well, plenty of games left and lots to cheer for no matter who your team is.Comment

I will tell you this about Tech and/or TCU, the only thing that I got out of being at this game was that the Tech defense played very inspired ball and was very quick to every ball carrier, but neither really impressed me. Heard some Tech fans leaving the game wanting Alabama to come on since they had just thought they had won the NC by beating TCU. TCU could not get out of their own way and the refs were terrible. In my opinion, they completely changed the score and possibly outcome of this game. The penalty on the "interference with a fair catch" was bogus at best. He ran between 2 of his own teamamates and was tripped by one of them. The "adult" Tech fans I have talked to since the game have all agreed on the refs being horrible and the call on the PR.Comment

The ban hammer is coming my way so I want to get this in before it does. no football discussions were allowed for years. a certain team was down and out during that same time. a two loss season and a Heisman Trophy,,,,,boom, football discussions are more than welcome!!!!!!
