Just for grins and giggles, somebody do the calculations of KE decay for a 100 yd shot vs. a 50 yd shot and see what kind of bow poundage and arrow speed it would take to make a shot at 100 and still have enough KE to kill an elk.

it wont matter what the ke is, it has little to no killing effect with a bow, on a good day with a good bow they only develop about half of what a standard velocity .22 lr does,, they get in the 140's and there not legal to hunt big game with because they don't have enough energy, but its twice what a bow will get, since most of us get no more than low 70's in ke
the momentum is far more important, but only then if the shot is good.

35ke at 200fps and a 400 gr arrow, at 175 fps it gets 19 ke... still very deadly with a good shot,,

5 for 5 at 150 is a pretty stout statement. I have shot out to 90 meters, years back, and it was fun. At 150, your paper plate is going to look like a pimple on a gnats butt.....

As for hunting, I hope the 150 yard shot never crosses your mind. Its about having them close. That is the fun part of it for me anyway.

To get a decent sight picture at that range...be prepared to push your peep up about 2-3 inches
