Truck cranked went about 200 yds but wasn't responding very well when I tried to accelerate. Then it wouldn't respond at all just idle. Now it wont crank

Hmmm If it was a fuel feed issue I would imagine it would throw a code? Injectors are known to be bad in the early models, maybe this. Could be a HPOP issue since the Injectors have a direct correlation to oil pressure... To Many what ifs.

What yr.Do you have the DEF fluid for your truck.

DEF didn't start until the 6.7, two motor generations later.

Just got mine back today. It ended up being the fuel pump. It wasn't pumping the fuel to the motor like it should. It had him puzzled for a while because it didn't throw a code. It was getting fuel to the top filter, but not to the motor.
$650 fix

My FICM was out on my 07 and it didn't do that, mine just wouldn't hardly start on a cold morning and would take about 30 minutes to warm up.

You mean you wouldn't buy another international diesel. Ford didn't make the motor until the 6.7.

I'm a Ford senior master diesel technician, sounds like a egr valve suck open on you, hopefully it's not saturated in coolant. Could be a fuel pump too. I work on them on the side and I know what I'm talking about you can text me or call me if you have any questions 9405771687
