Looking at some of these pictures, I know realize that a lot of the "rocks" that I threw back down in Mountain Home, were probably more than just rock!

Wow great find! Can't really help you with what it might be.

Found these two earlier today. One looks like a tip and I'm pretty excited about the bead.

A few more nice surface finds today.

I think the bigger piece is a knife or ax head.

Looks like Darl and Yarborough. Middle to late archaic. 4,000 or so years old.

I would like to see pics of the "bead" washed up.

Thanks. I'll post some pics of the bead later today.

Any thoughts on the bigger piece? Is it just a rough example of something started or do you think it might be a blade of some sort?

The bead washed up and better pics. I put it on a magnet and it did not stick. So it's not metallic. Any info on what it may be is greatly appreciated.

I found a point on an early morning dig this morning and what I think is a pipe. I also found a couple of other interesting things.

Salth2o, that bead looks like it may have started out as a button. Very cool find. I have a relative in Colorado who is an avid arrowhead hunter. He found a turquoise bead once on top of a red ant bed. He speculates that the ants brought it to the surface while constructing their ant mound.
