    New Tire Help

Time to put new tires on my Truck and I'm debating between BFG all terrain KO or Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor. Both are going to cost me quite a bit so any help from the green screen is appreciated.

Ive always liked the bfg at tires. Seems to be the only tire i have not had a flat with lol . However, Discount Tire does not offer a treadwear warranty because its an all terrain tire if this matters to you.

If you love a tire that is out of round, throws cords and separates the tread from the rest of the carcass, then the Good Year is the tire for you.

BFG, Michelin (who owns BFG), and Bridgestone will make a tire that lasts. There are lots of tires out there that look great, and perform really well, but don't last very long.

I'm presently running Bridgestones, they have a little life left in them at 70,000 miles. I will go back to Michelin this next round of tires.

Bfg's gets my vote I've been running them on multiple vehicles for 15 years and they are a tough tire! I can't remember ever having to fix a flat!

DTC isn't who decides if a tire has a mileage warranty or not, that's the manufacturer decision. Several sizes of the BFG AT come with a 50,000 mile warranty.

As far as which tire to choose....do the BFG! I've sold both tires for several years now and the BFG is what's on my truck. Reason being, the Goodyears can be a nightmare to balance and don't last as long. Both tires are just about equal on road noise and traction.

Also DTC's big sale is on Friday and Saturday. It'll be a $100 rebate on either of the tires. If you were in my area I'd hook you up.

I like BFG AT and have set of my Jeep. They work well and have lasted a long time.

That's what I needed to hear. I've had BFGs on a lot of vehicles in the past and never had a problem but my pops was trying to talk me into the Goodyear... Sorry dad.

I'm a big fan of the Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. I've gotten 55k miles out of them so far, and they still have another 10k left in them id say.

X2...this is what I am running and I have no problems with them and they put a 50000 mile warranty. I only have about 10000 on them though. So far so good.

X2 they dont make the zeons anymore. But cooper makes a nother all terrain you can buy from discount tire exclusively. Called like cooper ATS or something. I have had both the Zeons and the new ones. Like them both. And there are alot cheaper than the BFG all terrains by alot.

I've been running BFG A/T for over 20 years and would not consider buying anything else ----- but that is just me.
