Thanks Mike, I was worried about Jayse when he said he was hot and not sweating so picking up after us was last on my mind. Only sliver lining about that corner was Jayse got a good look at what ethics were and were not. When even a ten year old can see what's wrong it speaks volumes.

I probably shot three boxes, but I filled up the shoulder bag that my lawn chair fits in with empties.

We need to have a contest next year.
Whomever brings in the most empties wins a prize.

I'll bring my picker~upper and more onion sack for that!!!

Michelle is pulling another 12hours shift and won't be home until 6pm tomorrow...some vacation this is, I might as well turn on the laptop and check email. Mostly just glad she is off friday at this point & told her I will be on call for the weekend. Told her if marcos rings, I will spring!!


If I can get kids picked up and check on Gramp, I'll do my best to get out if at all possible tomorrow pm with limited time.

Dad says his friends won' shut up about the hunt!! He confided in me that one of the guys in his group has his cancer return and the weekend was a big uplift for him and his son in law / grandkids...pretty hard to top that sort of testimony to put things in perspective.

As my son, Artos, said our group of old timers had a great hunt and enjoyed the good company. We hunted the 55 the first day and everyone had plenty of shooting. The second day Artos moved us over to the floodway and of course it was even better.

I want to thank every one who had a hand in putting this hunt together including Mark, Randal, Beemer, Artos and many others. But I would like to give a special thanks to Leyda for the food preparation. She not only prepared the side dishes, she managed the pit Monday and did all the cooking.

Thanks again Mark and family, and I hope to see everyone again next year.
