Forgot to ask...but did anyone get a banded bird this year??

GW wanted me to ask as he remembered the one our group got one that was tagged from way up country last year. He's a real good guy and hope some of you got to visit with him on Saturday.

I'm still not sure how Mark made those thousands of collards leave the flowers at the house, but should help me win my grudge bet this weekend if he does not disk them under.

Remember marcos, if the house has some groceries left on that field, there WILL be WW this weekend.

    Te Amo amigo...

No bands here that I know of, with a $5 bounty from one hunter Jayse was looking pretty hard during cleaning

Awesome place to hunt. I can not remember seeing so many dove as I have seen in the videos and pictures you guys have posted. Looks like all the preparation paid off once again for this epic hunt. Thanks for posting all the pictures. Did anyone take a group picture?

A group photo without Legdog is like a fish fry without GJ and Stolle...it just don't work!

We limped along without several crucial people/traditions this year but definitely made the best of it. Some new faces stepped up big and filled big shoes. I hope to have all our veteran volunteers back next year, mainly because I enjoy y'all's company but also because its not the same event without you.

Thanks to all TBHers that made the trip, the group is evolving and may only have been 50% TBHers this year. You guys represented the GS with class and style that can't be beat!

            Until next year....SHOOT THAT BIRD!

The collards just fly one mile east and stay at mike englands cattle pens until you guys leave...then they come right back

I'll bring the rest to work tomorrow and test it on the city boys.

The floodway was overrun with hunters refusing to pay yesterday. we lost all control, way too many birds are still there..you would have needed a bus to arrest all the tresspassers. I will not plant there again. We will downsize and retreat back to the 55 for next year...if at all. Its easier to see you guys at Bownanza

Sorry to hear that Mark I know it's a PITA dealing with the public like that. Everyone round here treats the bayous running through our property like public walkways into our land. Bank side lawyers will tell you they have the right, yea they do too stay in their boat but they can't leave it with shotgun in hand. I know painting posts purple and signage is the best way to make "No Tresspass" stick.
