I wore a pair of Arita work boots out in 7 weeks and swore I'd never buy another pair from them again, and I haven't. I buy Justin's or Double H good ol American made boots that last better than any china made crap.

I bought my Ariats about 3 yrs ago and have been good to me. My Justins I bought about a year ago have been good as well.

I have a pair of Ariats about 5 yrs old. Last yr the material inside started roiling up on me too. I just cut it out and they've been fine. My other pair of Ariats not a single problem going on 2 yrs. I don't wear them nearly as much though.

Where can you get Double H? The sole on my lace-up Ariats cracked all the way across. They're the composite toe work boots and are about 2 years old. I'm not opposed to getting another pair of Ariats, but I will be looking at others. I love my ostrich Ariats and would wear them everyday if they didn't cost so dang much!

I've had Twisted X's for almost 3yrs and they're just now needing to be replaced. I love em and am going to buy another pair. Best work boots I've ever owned. It just depends on people's work habits, foot style, walking style, etc. I can't stand Ariats but a lot of people love em.

It's just like anything else; Ford/Chevy, Glock/Springfield, Hoyt/Mathews, Android/Iphone, etc. All comes down to personal preference.

I have been through a few sets. The ones I felt were most comfortable and lasted the longest was the Justin lace up ropers.

I bought Ariat. 230.00. I wear em everyday and I also took out insole and put more cushy sole for comfort. It has held up so far. It's been several months now. I like it very much.

I have a pair of Ariats I wear for dress (if I got em on you know I'm dressed up) They are the first square toes I've had, and they are fairly comfortable,
but not like the Justins I've always worn.

I bought a pair of Tony Llama TLX square toe work boots, and they've got
to be the most uncomfortable boots I EVER wore. These boots will suck the
socks off your feet in 30 steps.. I think they're also imports from
some place where they don't know how to make boots.

I have become a boot snob.
I refuse to buy any boot made in China and Most ariat, Justin and wolverine boots are made there.

You can find some that are made here or in Mexico, but it's tough.

H&H boots are made here (or at least the ones I have are) as well as some others.

I'm down to a pair of H&H work boots and Larry Mayhan dress boots.

I know that most of the other stuff I buy is from china, but I decided a year or so ago to take a stand on boots.

I prefer made in the USA, but will settle for Hecho en Mexico.

Yeah, I think that's what's wrong with my Tony Llama TLXes.

I bought a pair the last time I needed new work boots and ill never do it again. I had been buying Redwings before this and never had a problem. Any way, I seem to have had an alergic reaction to the lining in the Ariats. I have to wear over the clave socks if not my skin gets iritated on te inside of my leg near the top. I thought it might be the stitching on a seam but there is nothing that I can feel. I never had the problem with my Redwings.
