Which sole did you go with. I also work construction, and I have a pair with the cobalt quantum soles and they have lasted me about 5 years

Wore my twisted X out in 3 months, had my ariats for 6 months so far (wear them 20 days a month on average ) and I'm hard on boots and they are holding up awesome I'm very pleased with them. Double h were garbage for me as well. Different boots work for different people

my boys ariats split at the seams at the heel area, cavenders took'em back and sent them off....sent us another pair but my kid walked out in socks, loll. Redwings for me too, never had problems with them and they last for years.

It cracks me up when y'all won't wear boots because they're made in China. I bet y'all own a lot of other crap that's made in China but you draw the line at boots lol

Wolverine Multishox. I work on my feet all day in an extremely high volume welding shop. I've tried all brands and styles and keep going back to the Multishox. Those boots are on the wrong end of a cutting torch most of the day. They hang in there. My empolyer buys us a new pair of boots every january. Several of us prefer these for $230 @ Academy.

Currently 2 months into my first pair or rockys, and I am so far VERY impressed! was thinkin of tryin out a pair of redwings but none of them fit right and were very comfortable in my opinion so I kept lookin, I never had tried ariats of any kinda boot but wont be for sure now!

I'm done with Ariats. I bought a pair of their work boots and really liked them so a few months later I bought a pair of regular everyday Ariats. I don't wear them every day and I am not that hard on them. Probably wore both pairs 2 days a week each. The work boots were worn around the house doing yard work, etc and then around the lease. The soles cracked and came apart. I took them to a shoe repair place and they stitched them back together. Then the inner layer in the heel area came apart and it rubs the hell out of my heel.

The other pair still looks good but the soles are like a rubber type sole. They have a sorta oval shaped rubber insert and the insert came unglued on both boots. That pair was about $225 if I remember right.

At first I was a fan as they looked good and were comfortable. Now, not so much. Those will be my only two pairs of Ariats.

Well, if this pair of Ariats fail me, they will be my last!!! I'll probably go back to a lace up, which I think are a bit more comfortable anyways!!
