Now that will put some serious perspective over a $100.00 boot for protection! Fo sho! Lol. Thank you for that. I appreciate it.

I do have a snake boot but not a waterproof. Never thought I'd need it and the boot itself says waterproof but I highly doubt it is a fully waterproof. It's gonna leak and not keeping my feet dry during the hunt. It's a Cabelas brand. Just regular snake boot. Maybe if I spray it with a waterproof the heck out of it but will still leak through the tongue. If u know what I mean.

I've had cactus thorns go through my rubber boots so I'm skeptical that they would stop a direct hit from a snake fang.

Would not trust a rubber boot to stop fangs. Slow them down, but not stop them.

rubber boots will not stop all/some/most snake bites, dependant on the size of the snake and where the snake hits the boot.

I was bitten in 1985 by a rattler, fangs went thru my rubber boot like a hot knife thru butter. One fang penetrated my calf. So I got 50% protection.....

              Wear the snake boots...

That wet spot would be from the pee runnin down my leg

Spray the waterproofing on the boots you have. Your feet will dry if they get wet and you will be better protected. The waterproofing will be your least expensive option. Oh, don't walk in the lake!!!!!! That could help too!!!!!!
Keep in mind most snake bites will be above the ankle.

Dang! A mixed reviews and opinions! Makes it tough on me. Lmao! Well, I guess I can try using waterproof spray and lace it tight and try not to walk in water. I have no idea what it looks like over there! Never been there at all. Mike said to bring rubber boot so...I figure since a boat ride into his spot and walking through marsh or something. I guess I gotta keep asking Mike all the questions! Lol.

He may say dang all the $20,000? Just because of snake! Lmao.

I'd have a wet spot too. On the front of my pants from peeing myself!

You could get a rubber boot for the boat ride, and when you get out, then put on your snake boots . I used to do similar when deer hunting. One boot for deer hunting, and one boot for the boat ride. Now, I just wear rubber boots most of the time.
