The only rubber boots I ever owned were Lacrosse boots. The only trouble I can see with rubber boots would be if one got its fangs caught in them.If that happened it wouldn't do much good to run away.
Lmao!!! I can picture a grown man screaming like girl, running down while looking back, say WTH! Snake is still latched on me! Sight to be seen!

That's great idea. I forgot about BC. Usually my sizes are harder to find, though for many parts but can look! Thanks, Brad.

My grandpa used to tell me that a snake will " bounce off rubber"
I doubt it, but I don't think they will get through rubber boots ( to thick )

A old cowboy ( snake man at hunters expo) told me all you need is a pair of cowboy boots ( tall ones) and your good to go.He said over 40 years and not one snake has gotten though leather boots ...
Keep in mind he is in the snake pen countless hours all around the US ( wearing cowboy boots ( tall ones )

lol It would be somethin to see that's for sure. One of the guys I hunt with is so scared of snakes he'd probably run the snake to death before he even realized it was following him.

Phillip you are going to be in an environment where it is a real possibility of seeing snakes. Especially mocassins.
Can you afford the hospital bill?
Makes a decent pair of snake boots look more affordable. Look at chaps that you can place over the rubber boots for protection.

no way i'd be trampsing around the lake shore brush this time a year with rubber boots on....most of my snake boots are waterproof'd, i would at least get some boot gators if this is your only option. The mocassins are what your going to likely bump into , they are fast and they dont play.

Now that you've mentioned it. You are right. Heed to a nurse's wisdom!

I will see what I can sell off I dont use to make this happen. In two weeks' time.

I can tell you ive been struck a few times by cottonmouths wearing regular lacrosse rubber boots. Never got thru to skin but I did have a wet spot once where the venom got thru just a tad.

I have a pair of knee high snake boots. Cant remember make. Maybe redhead. They seem to be pretty water resistant and good around mud.
