    Rubber boots/snake proof?

I'm hunting hogs with one of TBHer in two weeks. Said I need a pair of rubber boot to keep the feet dry. I worry about dem copperheads cause it'll be by lake and walking in from the boat.

Want to see what GS say about this?

As most of you know, I'm not loaded and short notice on getting em makes it lil tough on budget.

    Appreciate it!

I would not worry about a Copperhead biting thru rubber boots cottonmouth maybe if he is big

Maybe you could borrow a pair from someone. What size do you wear?

They'll work.Regular boots and even shoes will stop a snake bite too.You just don't want to get hit above the ankle if you're wearing shoes.

That was first!!! Lol. I guess there's first time for everything!

Plan on it. After last Friday, I learned my lesson but dang couldn't find my extra mag. I wonder where it could be! It's usually in the backpack stored inside safe. Gotta look at the camp tomorrow.

Then why do we spend 200.00 plus for snake boots!? Lol

What would you recommend a good brand pair of rubber boots?

Just because they're called snake boots I guess.lol I just wear high top Red Wing work boots when I'm snake huntin.Lots of rattlesnakes have struck them and I've never had one get a fang through them.

The only rubber boots I ever owned were Lacrosse boots. The only trouble I can see with rubber boots would be if one got its fangs caught in them.If that happened it wouldn't do much good to run away.
