    Is this something new?

I use to get pulled over on hwy 59 for just driving in the fast lane when there were not any cars around back in 2003.

^^^Bout as clear as you can make it.

The state pays people good money to keep my speed in check. You don't need to do it by going on a Sunday cruise in the left lane.

Actually most of the speed laws do not apply.

He just stated that if he does not happen to be running radar, YOU are getting the ticket.

WHAAAAT?!?!? You mean all patrol vehicles are not running radar at all times?? Nope. Wipe that smug look off your face, get out your checkbook and get ready to be educated on Texas traffic law.

Trucks don't drive in the wrong lane slow, their drivers do

That was back before profiling was an issue. Your candy paint 65 Rollin on dubs was a tad suspicious for that part of the country.

Face it you have no argument. MOST LEO's ARE running their radar. If they are not they sure aren't paying enough attention to notice if I'm in the left hand lane let alone passing someone. Driving on I 20 just yesterday I even passed a sign that said left lane for passing only. I was in the left lane not passing and not holding up any cars and passed a dps officer. Never even touched his brakes. #evenbiggersmuglook

I am not asking you to agree, I am just noting the law. On duty police patrols can also pass to the right where other vehicles would be in violation and it does not require an emergency as it does even with other emergency vehicles such are fire trucks and EMS. .

We got some DPS on here. Lets run that by them.

How much faster than 70-75 do you really need to go ??? Think of the safety of others, not just how fast you can get were you are going.

Thus staying out of the inside lane.
