Left lane for passing only

Now this is about as adhered to as the law saying you must turn right into the immediate right lane. Every woman I know making a right turn, immediately goes all the way across 3 lanes for no reason.

I've always said that intersection crashes would go down by half if everyone turning would always turn into the innermost lanes. You leave one or two lanes open for those coming through, and room for avoidance. But who am I kidding..lol

People understand getting a ticket for speeding. Trying to explain to them that they are holding up traffic does not go over well.

If it's anything like out here in West(oil boom) Texas it will not change a thing, I've had one passing in the left lane and one on the shoulder at the same time. And then some people can't understand what causes road rage. Some days I wish I could afford a Abrams tank.

Drive my motorhome thru Austin all the time in the left lane. Always enjoy the signs that say I'm number 1. LOL!!! Old fart here. Carry on people. LOL again!

I surely wish they would start enforcing this, would make my day if you people got a ticket for being in the left lane just because you "could". This blatant disrespect for other people is ridiculous.

Yep I will go all the way across if I need in that lane instantly for a left turn 200 yards up but other than that turn into the closest lane. Also drives me crazy when the woman chatting away on her phone notices her exit when she is 3 lanes over and dang near takes out everybody in between to get there.

And don't get me started on old people who shouldn't have their licenses any more.

X2. I drive in the left lane 90% of the time. I usually run 85-87 so I stay in the left so I don't have to keep changing lanes to pass.

They need to allow bump drafting. I get pretty close, but a bump would let them know I'm headed to a fire.
