Your choice.
“Engineers generally consider highway travel to be the safest when vehicles are traveling at the same speeds,” Rawson said. “The use of these signs will help ensure that vehicles traveling at the posted speed limit will not be impeded or forced to make excessive lane changes when encountering a slower vehicle.”
Sign doesn't say left lane is for speeders and law breakers.
That's why I pass on the shoulder.

I drive the speed limit and whenever I come up on someone going slower, I can't move over to the left lane because you are pacing me or you dont know how to use your cruise control and while passing me your foot gets tired or you see a squirrel and forget where you are. Soooo when I do finally get in the left lane, I stay there until I don't see anymore cars that might be going slower than me.
I don't know who you are but if I can move to the left to pass someone while I am going the speed limit, then you can just as easily move over to the right lane and go around if you want to go faster than me!

Seriously have respect for others on the road. Don't take 5 miles to pass an 18wheeler cause you are going 75MPH and the 18 wheeler is going 74.9 MPH! Not to mention it is the law now.
Pass people like there is oncoming traffic in the left lane. Speed up, pass, then get over! Its that easy!!! Even an OKIE can do it.

However, if your are just cruising in the left lane (not passing) than you need to move over fella. It's the law.Last edited by Mastro; 03-27-2013, 08:22 PM.

Lol... I wish the counties I drive in the most would go to 75... I drive back from the lease where there are hills and the roads turn in 75 mph speed zones...
AS SOON AS YOU GET UP ON THE CAPROCK WITH FLAT LAND AND STRAIGHT ROADS THE SPEED LIMIT DROPS BACK DOWN TO 70... ***? For the life of me I can't figure it out... He'll you could drive 185 up here, run off the road for miles and never hit a tree, dip, house.... There's nothing out here. We should be driving 95. Just ****** me off.
Oh and yes, regardless of how fast your going get your *** out of the left lane... There's always somebody driving faster than you, in a hurry to get somewhere, or in a state of emergency. Get the $&@! Out of the way!!!!!

Makes me wanna drive my truck into every courthouse in those counties... At 70 of course, because that's a safe speed.
Andrews has been 75 for years now btw.. The newer counties to convert are up in the panhandle...
