I did insanity for a month and only lost a pound. That frustrated me so, of course, I quit. The only thing I did notice was my exhaustion level, too longer for me to get winded. I took pictures every week and could not tell a difference at all. Now I am doing my own workout...at the gym...and i have lost 5 lbs in a week.

I am using the insanity ab workout...geez.

I'm almost done with my second round. I have shed a bit of fat, but the results have been seen in my overall fitness. I still can't get through an entire month 2 workout without stopping (I don't think anyone can), but I'm going to keep repeating month two over and over until I get we're I want to be. The hardest part isn't the workout, it is the dang diet

My dad is 62 and a hs baseball coach. He does or did it every day until he had a quintuple bypass surgery. Now he's chomping at the bit to do it again

MMoses, Trust me. IT WORKS... The workouts are DIFFICULT, but you will get through it. I started at 6'1" 274lbs. Started on Feb. 4, 2013. I have completed 2 rounds of Insanity, 1 round of Asylum I and currently working on Focus T25. I am now at 205 lbs. and feel great. I am down 12 INCHES, yes 12 INCHES in my waist. Started at a 47 in waist and now at a 35 in waist.

That is awesome. 69lbs in 6 months and 12 pant sizes. That is impressive. How did you change your diet?

I am crazy sore......this is tough. I am sticking to it.

I went to www.myfitnesspal.com and set up an account. It is a free app and you can set up a program either automatic of you can manually set one up.
I track EVERYTHING that I eat or drink. There is a huge data base to select from. You can also enter you workouts and it will track that too.
I started at 1,800 cal. per day and currently I am at 1,700 cal per day. This is BASE calories and any exercise you complete and enter it will add to the calories you can consume.

If I eat it or drink it I count it. I am also on the Team Beach Body forum and enter a blog every day. It is all about accountability. I really think I am addicted to it now because I work out every chance I get.

Word of advice, if you are scheduled an Off Day (Rest Day) take it. The rest is extremely important for your body to recoup. It is difficult to NOT workout on those days but I have to MAKE myself NOT workout.

Stick to it. The soreness WILL go away. Trust me.. I have been there. You will be surprised at the results when you finish the program

For the record, I am smaller now than I was when I graduated High School in 1985. I can knock out push ups like never before, I am running a minimum of 2 miles per day and I have never been as flexible as I am now. I played sports all though High School and never been in this good of shape. I am a TRUE BELIEVER in the programs offered through Beach Body. They do work. I can attest to that.
