My wife bought the videos/workout. She stuck with it until she tore her ACL doing one of those Mud Runs. I have glanced at it but really never got in to it. I normally go to the gym every morning. Here lately I've been doing more cardio and thought about using this workout as my cardio day workout instead of just running.

If you had to pick one or two of the workouts to do as a cardio workout which one would it be?

So far I am down over 55 lbs. started at 215 lbs. and sitting around 160 lbs. the main change for me other than the nutrition was going from ZERO excercise a day to lifting weights 4-5 days a week while incorporating cardio when I am not lifting.

With all that being said, the Insanity program has always interested me... I have done a few workouts that I have found online... but just not bit the bullet yet with purchasing the actual program. I want to finally drop the last bit of body fat around my core, im sure eating clean and Insanity will help with that...

Without sounding kinda weird... would you post some before and after pics? I would like to see the transformations of actual TBHr's that have done this program.

I use www.myfitnesspal.com to track everything. If I eat or drink it I count it. It is a free and simple ap to navigate through and I track it all. Iwill work on some pics and see what I can some up with

I don't think I could ick one or two of the workouts. I think they all compliment each other. I was extremely skeptical at first, but after the results from 60 days I am SOLD on it. I am taking a few days off before I start all over and do it again. I figure 30 lbs lost the first time and hope to shed 20 the 2nd time. The Transformation is truly AMAZING..

Give me your feedback. I am working on this to try to get in shape for a Tough Mudder event in September. Going to start mixing in some other workouts as well; running, weights, etc.

Give me some feedback. I am sure someone else is doing this..
I am from Emporia and I too am doing the tough mudder but we are going to Houston, TX to do ours. :-)

I started going back to the gym on February 26th. I am 54 years old and weighed 257. It's been 6 weeks and I've lost 20lbs. I am also putting in 20 miles a week running. I am feeling great, lifting, running, eating clean, and now weighing 237.

Good luck to you at the Tough Mudder!

So I am trying to decide between P90X and Insanity. Sounds like Insanity is the best. Any opinions?

I have not done P90X but from what I have heard is that the Insanity program is P90X on Steroids.... I love the Insanity program. Best results I have ever seen in a 60 day workout.

Before pic is on the left 274 lbs. 60 days pic on the right 244 lbs.

                Time for an update...
I am 80 days in and have completed the first round of Insanity and I am now in Week 2 of round 2. So far I am down 39 lbs., but the measurements are GREAT. 8.5 inches down in my waist, 9.5 inches down in my hips, Body Fay percentage is down 9.8% and my chest is down 3 inches. Had to go and buy new clothes today because of the others being way TOO big... I am so looking forward to the day that I hit my Target Weight.
This Insanity Workout has NOT gotten any easier. Seems as though the further along you go, the more you PUSH yourself. I have never sweated as much as I do now and I am now able to complete stretches and exercises I would have never thought possible... I will post some new pics once we complete the 2nd round... Love this stuff..

Congrats. It is a good feeling to finish a program. It sounds like you are getting awesome results.

It's good for cutting weight but you will drop muscle mass. I do the AB workout sometimes if I don't have time at the gym or on my days off. Seems like a good program for folks that want to lean up but both P90x and Insanity will drop muscle mass for me. Keep up the good work.

Good workout. Its CrossFit Lite though. If you really want to get in shape join a CrossFit box.

Been a while, but I thought I would update..
On Day 177 and we have completed 2 rounds of Insanity and started the Asylum Program. Also we have ordered (and received) the New Focus T25 program.
I am down 63 lbs., 11 inches in my waist, 11.5 inches down in my hips, 4 inches down in my chest and I FEEL Great. One (1) pound from my goal weight and then I will set another goal. I would love to be below 200 lbs and only have 11 pounds to go. My initial goal was 210, and I am at 211. So close yet so far away.
Insanity, Asylum, and I have started running with the program. That and a base 1,800 cal intake is working GREAT.

I did it for several months with great results but then started having knee problems and had to quit. I still do some working out but nothing compared to what it was doing. Too much stress on the knees in my opinion but definately gets results.

Me and a buddy did it and didnt miss one day.. I went from 185 to 166 and he went from 220 to 190.. i would say its a easy way to lose some lbs quick.. and once you knock if off just pop in back in for a week or so to keep you where you wanna be

Started Insanity on Monday. I am doing it at the firestation, so its going to longer than 60 days(we work every 3 days). I think the wife and I will do T25(Shauns other work) on my days off.

                              I started at 6'1" 285lbs.

Today I can barely walk. My calf muscles hurt so bad, I can barely walk.

It does work. I started on P90x for 2 months and then went to insanity and it was like I just started working out for the 1st time in years. I am now doing the longer insanity workouts and they are ROUGH. I do insanity for cardio and then right after I do the P90x arms, chest, and back videos. The key is to never give up.
