Not sure about this feed now, but sometimes, feed mills use very poor quality ( and cheap sources) to derive their protein from. The bioavailability of these proteins is not equal to the best sources.

We fed a couple of tons of their cattle cubes a few years ago and while they ate it well, I wouldn't use it again.

      Can you elaborate a little?

It is developed by a nutritionist that seems to know what he is talking about, and the protein is from peanut meal.

Also, i think i saw somewhere where they changed some formulas after getting the new nutritionist.

We fed red chain on your deer lease for 2 years before we quit that place. Probably about 15,000lbs maybe more. 8 Game cams out all year on the corn and protein feeders and nothing but does and young bucks ate it on that lease. I have hunted all over Texas....heck all over the nation, but I have yet to see such a weird deer herd as that place. 5 years and only 3 bucks killed on that place! Most nocturnal and skittish deer ever!

To answer your question....the deer liked it....but so did the hogs and cows.

Sounds like a place I was on in Lipan.....4800 acres.... 6 hunters.....no kills and maybe 3-4 animals killed in the previous three years. Great night time TC pics though.
