      I know that my wife has a couple of Facebook pages that she visits often. The only one I remember the name of off the top of my head is "Moms who Crossfit".

          Not sure why I was so excited about this one! It was a 20min suckfest!

          We had 5 attempts to find a max on the following unbroken complex prior to the WOD:
          1 x power clean + 2 x hang full clean + 1 split jerk - I PR'd my power clean by 20 lbs on my fifth attempt but could not stand up the 2nd hang full clean to complete the complex. Walked away happy with a 20lb power clean PR for the evening though

            Eased back in yesterday with some light deadlifts - 10, 8, 5, 3 sets 10

            And then

            21 KB
            21 Burpees
            21 SDHP
            15 kb lunges
            15 goblet squats
            15 Burpees
            9 SDHP
            9 Burpees
            9 goblet squats

            I went about 75% effort and got gassed pretty quickly and my back tightened up a bit ( need to stretch more) but felt good to get back at it.

              It's been pretty rough over the holidays not being in a routine. I've felt a little sluggish these past couple of workouts, but I'm easing back into it.
              Yesterdays WOD was really light but felt good for getting back into it:
              14 Min AMRAP
              6 Deadlifts (95)
              4 Hang Cleans (95)
              2 Push Press (95)
              8 Clapping push ups

              Our gym starts the "Whole life challenge" on the 17th, anyone else doing this?

                Never done the wholelife challange but we did a healthy living challange designed by one of our trainers from Oct 1 - nov 15th and I was in the best shape physically that I think I have ever been in. Ruined it over the holidays and am back on the train now. Today was a lung burner!


                5 attempts to find heaviest weight on the following unbroken complex:
                1 x power snatch + 2 x hang full snatch

                WOD:
                6 rounds for time
                1 minute max effort Sumo Deadlift Highpulls (45lbs)
                1 minute max effort burpees
                1 minute max effort double unders
                1 minute rest

                Score consisted of 3 numbers, which were your lowest number of completed reps in any given round of each movement during the entire 6 rounds

                  Crossfit fellas, where y'all at?

                  9 rounds + 4 pull-ups RX on "Cindy" yesterday. I'm 5 & 1/2 months post having a baby and have been back at cf for 3 & 1/2 months. It felt good to finally be able to RX pull ups again. My endurance is not where it used to be but is getting better everyday. I feel like my endurance took the hardest hit.

                  I gave up sweets/desserts for the new year so I'm looking forward to that help me in the future. I can't commit to 100% clean eating etc but this is something!

                  "Cindy, 20 min amrap"
                  5 pull ups
                  10 push ups
                  15 air squats

                    I wasn't able to work out yesterday, but I probably needed a recovery day anyway! I hope to make it back this afternoon to work out some of the EXTREMEME soreness in every part of my body. OUCH!

                      I'm in the same boat. Started going hard again monday. My body is in lock down mode today. I want to cry a little every time I get up from my desk.

                      I did get a 97lb "Turkish get up" yesterday. One shinning moment for the week of pain.

                        I gave brief thought to asking you about dropping in on your box yesterday while I was on your side of town, but figured it might not be a good idea after Lupe fajitas!

                          Last nights WOD finished with a 600m run. You would have remembered those fajitas every step of the way. lol Heck I had a light lunch and still had to fight it back afterward. It's amazing what these holidays and a sore back did to my conditioning. I'm just chalking it up to working on my "before picture" for the year.

                              Just a random goal I have chosen to set: I WILL start my handstand walks doing this Zombie Press before I turn 33 in May




                              Today was cardio city - Heart rate was through the roof

                              3 round for time:
                              15 hang power cleans (135lbs)
                              15 burpees
                              15 kettlebell swings (53lbs)

                              Took me 8:49 to complete which isn't that great, but 15 hang power cleans at 80% of your bodyweight isn't going to be done unbroken like the burpees and KB swings are

                                Yesterday we did the 2013 CF open week 2 workout:
                                10 Min AMRAP
                                5 Shoulder to overhead (#115)
                                10 Deadlifts (#115)
                                15 Box jumps (24")

                                I finished with 8 rounds, not to great considering Froning finished with 12.23 (367 Reps). Those box jumps sure get tiring about round 5!
