a zebra is not a horse, but they both eat great!

silly societal restrictions go right out the window if you get hungry enough.......

I'll eat anything that doesn't eat me back first.

I think I did when I was in Africa. One night they had filets of all the animals on the concession. All were good but the red hartebeest was the best.

Everyone I have ever talked to about hunting zebra said that they were very tough to hunt and hard to kill. They also said that they were very good eating.

The problem with eating horses is the drugs that they are given plus they are killed after they are old and tough.

If its good enough for a lion, then it's good enough for me. I'd try it.

A zebra and a horse are prey animals. I have eaten vienna sausage and they are ok...

I could eat a horse for sure. The dog not so much. I'm not really down on eating a carnivore except bear.

I never had but I would without any problem....but then again it would not bother me to eat a horse steak either....

                    had zebra before...liked it
                    would eat it again.

dog..."supposedly" ate a perro taco in mexico once. Didn't know until after the fact, when we asked the street vendor what we just ate...and he told us "dog". We were drunk and hungry. I honestly can say it didn't taste bad, but I refer back to the drunk and hungry statement.

I'd try zebra, or horse either for that matter. I don't know why, but I'm a little hesitant about eating carnivores like mountain lion or bear, but I draw the line at dog.

horse meat is eaten regularly all over the world except good ole usa. its no coincidence that when they shut down the horse slaughter houses here a few years ago the bottom fell out of the horse market. now theres horses getting let go because no one will buy them and people cant afford to feed them. before we were shipping the meat over seas. good job p.e.t.a.

I had some at a wild game dinner I volunteered at at my buddy's church. It was one of the tastier meats I ever had...

Zebra is very lean, and tastes like beef. I have given it to several people that didn't know and they liked it. Just like everything else it's how you cook it

I've had horse and donkey in Mexico, I can't imagine it would be much different.

I've had it. Our PH didnt tell us what it was till after dinner but everyone agreed they would eat it again. It was awesome.
