Anybody been to Branson? Need some input.

It's all fun but make sure to take plenty of money because nothing is free or
cheep up there, I was there last summer stayed for 4-days plenty to do.
They also have an on line site to shiw you who will be preforming while your

Yea, I actually fell for it before I went to Branson. But, now that we own it. Its a really nice place to stay and saves us Mucho money every time we have used it.

If they solicit you, you just say "not interested" and keep on going with your vacation.

We own one of Properties......You get a ton of room.....places for the kids to play outside....unlike a hotel parking lot. And your close to attractions, golf....etc.....

We dont use it enough to justify the cost, but its paid for now.....so why not use it or give it away to others who can benifit from it.

But I agree, dont buy one....you will never get what you paid for it back out of it. Thats my public service announcement for the day

The Grand Country Inn is next door to Presley's Country Jubilee. It has indoor golf, buffet style resturaunt, and an indoor waterpark that the kids can stay there all day everyday if you are a hotel guest.

If Jim Stafford still has his show there....that is a must see. Of all the shows we saw...I enjoyed his the most. Got to talk to him at the break. He is a stand up, down to earth guy.

I reccomend all these places. Silver Dollar City is COOL!! Be SURE to ride the train while you are there!
There's a winery close by, that you can go and taste the wines, Bass Pro is in driving distance, all the shows are good, the dam is beautiful, the Duck Rides are neat and all the little shops are very interesting.

Chew, I lived there for 30 years. You can have a great time and spend alot less money that most vacation cities. You can follow the blue diamond routes and avoid all traffic. The best shows are Dixie stampede and the show boat branson belle(they both have AC). Silver dollar city, white water and celebration city are great. You can get the (All cities pass) and go to all three for a discount. Great place, most of my family still lives there.

Best part about the whole dang trip. I covered Springfield for 3 years and never figured out the lure of Branson.
