I realize that the topic of gun violence, gun control, 2nd Ammendment, AR availability, panic buying, etc. are hot topics right now, but I'm growing weary of the volume of new threads devoted to such topics. In general, I'm not a fan of "rant" type threads because they convey a negative tone, while my goal with the site has always been toward positive, encouraging contributions.
I understand the implications of some of these topics to maintaining our Second Amendment rights but, frankly many of these topics are simply rhetoric and add little value to our forum. Additionally, there's a LOT of redundency with the same "information" posted in multiple topics.
I'm requesting that our members help curb the number of these threads, along with rant threads in general, by properly disseminating what is pertinent information vs. what is politically motivated propoganda. I'm asking the moderators to assist by deleting topics that cross from informational to political, and to merge legitmate threads that are topic redundant.
Thanks for your assist and understanding!
