Does anybody else wifi turn off when your in the stand? Mines really starting to **** me off... When it turns off when I have it down by the feeder and now I can't do crap with it

I leave the wifi on, and just control the camera with the remote. If I see a deer coming, I just turn the camera on, and turn it off when I'm through taking pix or videos. Haven't had any major battery problems using it that way..

so i contacted GoPro and the Hero3Black will work with my phone to control it but i cant preview at all.(i have the motorola atrix2) I guess i will have to get another phone. My brothers Samsung Infuse views it like a champ and works great.

You might try to find a cheap used iPod Touch instead of getting a new phone.

Assuming it's like the Hero2... when you buy backpack accessories, they come with extended case backs (both waterproof and open) that replace the ones that came with your GoPro. So if you're using the GoPro alone, you use one of the original case backs and if you're using the backpack accessory, you use one of the extended case backs that came with that. Either way, it fits perfectly.

Y'all let me know when you get all the Hero3 bugs worked out and then I'll buy one!

I received a GoPro3 Silver for Christmas as well. I haven't had a chance to play with it and I wan't to get a SD card before I do.

The videos look good and seems they will work awesome for blind camera and for setting them up for down range shots.

Yes. You join the wifi from the camera

Thats what I thought, but it just shows 4G, and still works.
