Okay I have been testing the wifi using my IPhone and IPad. Pretty cool and I can see why y'all are using them. I need to get a few more accessories to film my hunts

I got one for Christmas but I haven't had a chance to play with it. It's my first go pro.

Firmware update complete and I tested the wifi with my iPad and iPhone. Testing remote after movie with my kids

Remote will not connect. Trying to firmware update again.

You have to choose remote or IPad app.
I've had mine for about a month. Takes good video! Battery life is crap. Go pro even sent me new batt. When wifi is turned on I get maybe 1/2 hr of record time. Not real impressed. Hopefully all of y'all's will be better.

Yes, I switched back to remote. I went through the setup process again.
I noticed it was locked up and I had to remove the battery in order to power it down.

The whole camera was warm so I am leaving the battery out for a little while.

Thats happened to me a few times too. They definitely have some bugs to work out.

I thought I read it had to have an SD card to do the update
