Time Clock Recommendations?

Very similar office no time clock either. I know my secretary is worth way more than I can pay her. She works hard and makes me look good. I dont mind at all when she comes in late or leaves early or needs a long lunch. She knows not to abuse it and doesn't. Around my office we put God and family first and worry about that work stuff last.

Not sure what to tell you about catching her in the act. That wouldn't fly around here but also hasn't happened around here.

one person office, a timeclock seems like a distrustful move and a waste of money....

have a nice conversation with her that she is on the clock, and if she wants to get paid for the 80, she has to do the 80

or just have her email you from the office email when she gets there. Time stamped. Done.

THIS - Nothing kills morale in a work place better than micro-management. Have a talk with her letting her know your concerns as a warning and let her know that if it does not get corrected that the office is going to have to go to a timeclock system instead of just dropping it on her without warning.

One of my vendors uses a biometric (finger print) time clock to monitor his group.

Does she get her job done, and is she a good employee, does she work over if need be ? If so tell her to tighten up a bit. And don't sweat being a good guy.:thumbup:

All I care about is if the job gets done. I do not want someone with an 8-5 mentality at all. I won't sweat a few hours here and there if the employee takes care of things when they need to, whether at lunch, after hours or when ever.
