Why do you want open carry?

I'm not saying to make carrying illegal, I just think having guns in schools will do more harm than good.

So...... A law saying you can't have a gun here or there will stop someone that is willing to murder. The logic is obvious. If a person is willing to murder which carries life in prison or the death penalty, they surely are willing to take a gun on school property which has a much lesser sentence. So who are these laws really hurting?

This had been proven over and over.

Ps I'm extremely pro open carry, however I would still carry concealed in town.

If I were to get in a gunfight....I would rather have my AR. If I have an option to open carry...I would carry my AR.

I know this is kinda off the topic, but that's what I would choose. And I had the 2nd highest pistol score in my Battalion.

See: 2nd Amendment. The reasons for carrying are none of your business. You dont like others to carry, get the 2nd amendment changed..until then, continue using your first amendment right to speak in assumptions and generalizations based on factless opinion.

A pistol is just a means to fight your way back to the rifle you should have had in the first place.

The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791, along with the rest of the Bill of Rights.

This is like the spike debate. Just admit you want to carry a gun to be cool or macho. Don't act like you will save the world. Like if "they" see that I carry they may be deterred!! Yes, because otherwise you would have been robbed again? How many times do you yourself get robbed or beaten?

Yep it should be carry ! Either concealed or open its our choice not anyone else's ! Really there will always be people who should not have weapons readily available on thier person but why should we all be subjected to this ? The people we put in charge of screening for "carry on person" will need more training to help keep them from carrying but when they slip thru or carry them illegally at least there will be more legal carriers ready to help defend those who don't want to carry. One last thing, you folks like me who want to carry and do your part, spend time at the range and find one that has a life situation type area and go through it practise practise practise because when the chips fall it may be you who the rest of us count on for quelling a situation where our loved ones are so be prepared carriers!
