Do you tip at Sonic?

Personally I do not like the place...but find myself getting a large diet D.P. with extra lime for the wife way too much.

Nope! Just like I don't tip at McDonalds or Burger King they make the same money. I used to waitress so I tip really good at a place where someone is waiting on me, but wait staff don't get paid as much as fast food employees! People always give me a hard time about it but its just something I have personal opinions about! I feel like so if workers do try hard but so do employees at other fast food places most of the time harder no one else expects tips.

Yes......my daughter works the one in willow park...and i know first hand that most of the girls thats all they get so yeah i tip.

The sonic I frequent has a drive thru lane so I use that and don't feel bad about not tipping.

Yes, I do. When I do, they always looked surprised! I guess no one else does in Round Rock area. I don't know but yes, tip them.

If I'm getting a whole meal, I tip at least $1 and not more than $2. If I'm just getting a drink, I tip at least 50 cents and not more than $1. From what I hear, their hourly wage is extremely low and they rely mostly on tips. For the record, I don't like Sonic's business model when it comes to their employee wage structure. I would rather they pay at least minimum wage. But, since they don't, I do tip. I just consider that part of the cost of buying at Sonic instead of one of the fast food places that pay minimum wage.
