I hunt a two trails that come to a pinch point at a fence. I put out hand corn to hold them a bit, yea they walk right past the corn. :what:

They eat it at night at our place. We are basically a 150 acre oak Mott. I'm giving them a few weeks of no pressure and hopefully they will be back in November.

Acorns are still everywhere on our place.

You know it's bad when even the coons and squirls aren't hitting the corn.
This!!!...they didn't care one bit about corn at our place near Mason last weekend. At this point all I want is just to see an animal within bow range...I'm getting a little worn out staring at empty ground all the time.

Up here in North TX they are hitting acorns and pecans. That's about it.

Its not piling up at my feeders, but the day time deer activity has shut down to a trickle.

They were laying off the feeder last month. Lots of acorns dropping along the creeks and river. But this morning sat for a morning hunt and as soon as feeder went off they were coming.Click image for larger version

Most of our ok trees are on the creek which was dry, but it has got water in it now and I guess they were covered in water or washed away.

I went from seeing the same resident does and yearlings, and sometimes up to 5 bucks at a time, to seeing didily squat...Corn is piling up, Big&J cube is siting there not being touched, and I'm going to turn it down to 3 or 4 seconds. Very few pics now..Axis are coming in, but at the most random times..Oh well, c'mon cold snap
