it looks like the buck or bucks walked around the tree while they were rubbing so it would be even... not a a real life situation would they do that... besides if your friend found it why would he be so offended if someone didnt think it was real...it is what it is

Well, I will do a mid day scout and see what it is. There was a big buck in the area early last year, but we figured he got shot because a buddy went in to bow hunt during early gun season and heard a rifle shot a couple of hundred yards away. After that the big buck sign went old, no fresh sign. Another buddy, a couple of weeks later, made hunt in almost the exact same spot, and had a nice 14 inch eight point walk by. He decided to let it go, so maybe this is the buck that's made the rub.
