Well this news sucks. I didn't watch the show last night but was planning on interviewing Lea. Guess I wont be doing that after two threads worth of negative comments.

Mules outhunt horses hands down, pull down 2 wires, jump the fence with the mule and go to the hog bay and shoot the hog before it breaks or kills dogs, plus they do better in hot weather than horses etc etc etc.

They waste $300 on gasoline catching 1 $5 hoglol

I watched part of one episode and thought it was the dumbest thing I'd seen in a long time! haven't watched it since. They always make people from Texas appear like redneck idiots!

You obviously haven't seen Honey Boo Boo! My wife watched it last night, and words can not describe how ridiculous these people are!

THe old man was the guest speaker at the Mills County Hunters Banquet. Needless to say, there was no speech. Was not impressed.

Hunting shows seem to always depict hunters as "dufuses". A sorry example is that hillbilly Duck Commander. That guy is pitiful!! Not at all what I want people thinking duck hunters are like....Get a shave and take a bath for gods sake.

I really can't believe you think this about the duck commander! He is one of the only few that has earned millions and is on national tv and still doesn't give a rip. he acts the same way all the time and if you don't like it he doesn't really care! He's done more for the duck hunting world than all te people I know put together! Btw I've never heard anything bad about the DC. Plus it is a very family friendly show that everyone loves!

Now you want to talk about people makin hunters look bad take old Jeff foiles for example he screwed up his whole career and made a lot of hunters look bad!

The problem with the show is the family, the old man doesn't know what he is talking about most of the time. Hogs are not predators they don't hunt down cattle to eat them thats idiotic just hearing it made me feel dumber. I have really good friends from brownwood and he and his family talk about how the kids are as smart as rocks (my buddies mother is a science teacher at the local highschool). No one around town would pay them to be on their property why do you think they have to travel to film the show. I watched a few episodes and realized the was terribly scripted and these people have no idea how to properly control or get rid of a hog propblem. SMDH

The Problem is the Hog Doggers and Honey Boo Boo are like watching train wrecks and get ratings. As for as any Duck Commander show I'm 100% interested in them.

The media - production types - are typically left leaning.

It's ironic....the recent success of Texas, in view of the rest of the Union NOW....is pretty much on top. Texas......as we stand now...replaced what the USA once was.

So...getting back to my first statement.....Media \ Production \ Entertainment \ Hollywood etc....are typically left leaning. So...let's create some Reality TV shows down Texas way....and fuel a fire...that makes Texas and Texans look HICK...BACKWARDS and COMPLETELY OUT THERE - and get this programming on PRIME TIME portraying TEXAS and TEXANS as a bunch of YAHOOs with GUNS.

I don't drink the KookAide and I refuse to watch programming.......that sends a negative and or suggestive message that isn't centric with reality.

Are you kidding me? More liberal craziness has been coming out of Texas lately than any where.
