Hunting shows seem to always depict hunters as "dufuses". A sorry example is that hillbilly Duck Commander. That guy is pitiful!! Not at all what I want people thinking duck hunters are like....Get a shave and take a bath for gods sake.

They should try some of those "rooters"South of Victoria in the San Antonio river bottoms...My BIL has property there and some of the hogs look live a VW "Bug" going thru the brush,or going thru anything in their way...they do serious damage to a feed pen,,,,to get in or to get out...

Being a member of an outdoors Mens Ministry Group & a Sportsman Church, I am VERY aware of who he is. He is looked up to by MANY in our group.

That said....I don't care for him. Just cause a guy is a strong christian (like myself) doesn't mean he is a great example.

Another example of crap TV is everything on TruTV. Non of its true..that lizard lick towing is a waste of energy. Oh and storage hunters on TV is crap crap crap too. All BS.

I used to like storage wars but now its a joke. They over value everything just for hype. Pure joke at this point.

Everyone has people they do and don't like. That's life. However I disagree with this statement. Because he is a strong Christian MAKES him a great example. Compared to the cussing, drinking, idolizing, and everything else on TV these days, you don't see that from him. He shows strong Christian and family values. Like his redneck way or not, those things make him a great example.

I just watch it and shake my head and laugh! I am glad i started watching it though because before then i didnt realize that hogs were blood thirsty savages that wanted to eat me and all my stuff! Haha But i will say that the ol man does throw out some funny sayings sometimes
