I am liking my 80# Invasion pretty well. Its fast quiet and lays the smack down. Plus its smooth and compact.

I have the same bow at 65#. 29" DL 460gr FMJs. Chrono at 278 which means over 70#s of KE. I'm not worried about penetration at all!

Bowtech is out of Destroyers, so you'll be shooting the Insanity, if you're talking new bows.
Shooting thru vines,...... one is as good as the other.

Also i hunt in pretty thick stuff and everso often there is a little leaf blocking my even smaller hole to shoot thru and i have shot many arrows thru them and hit my target cleanly. That leaf sometimes throws your arrow off just enough ,thats what i meant by vines lol , i never shoot at anything if i cant hit it and know what it is,if you sky draw in that stuff it would be ugly lol.

In that case you better get one with 80 pound limbs. Ya never know.

If you are doing this, then you are drawing to much weight to handle comfortably. I know a lot can, but a lot can't. I have seen it to often and with todays bows on any animal in NA, it is not needed.
I practice with my Monster while sitting down all the time cause I hunt while sitting in a chair.

I shoot a 56# @ 28" longbow with a 650 grain arrow and a Simmons 190gr tiger shark up front and blow thru everything I've ever shot. Probably only shoot 180 fps at best. Heavy arrows and sharp broadheads equals penetration not how much pounds you pull. My .02
