My Omen Pro at 72#, 30" draw and 665 grain arrows at 270fps has no problem with passing through pretty much anything I want.

All you 70# pullin' dudes are studs. I pull 58, but I can shoot all day without getting too tired.

I have absolutely no problem . I shoot 50 to 75 arrows a day sometimes more. No problem at all.

If you are doing this, then you are drawing to much weight to handle comfortably. I know a lot can, but a lot can't. I have seen it to often and with todays bows on any animal in NA, it is not needed.
This guy can. Even hunting the frozen tundra in Wisconsin. If I couldn't, I won't hesitate to drop poundage.

I believe in shooting the heaviest poundage bow that you can pull. By that I mean if you hold your bow out and train it on a target, you should be able to pull straight back without sky-drawing. And right now, I don't have that issue with my monster.

if you have to raise the bow up to draw it then you are pulling too much weight....should be straight back and smooth.

I think you guys failed to read my post carefully. I do not doubt that there are people on here that can comfortably pull 80 or even 90 pounds, but there will be a lot that cannot do what I challenged them to do and will not admit it.. Not doubting the ones that can as i use to shoot a 70# recurve at 28" and shot 80#'s on compounds fo a long time. What Bloodtrail and Crtr Gtr said is spot on.

Bowtech Destroyer, Insanity, and AirRaid all have 90 FPE and speeds approaching 340fps. Why do you need to change? I have a 27.5 inch draw length and pull 72lbs. I am getting 311 fps.

The top 5 highend bows will likely perform about the same, so it comes down to which one blows your skirt up. Go shoot them all and then decide. If you can sit in a chair and gracefully draw 75 or 80 pounds then go for a heavy set of limbs so you can shoot a heavy arrow. Thats what I have done and I haven't ever looked back. Mudslinger is right not alot can. I've let some of my friends that are over 6' and 200lbs and yoked try to pull my bow and they couldn't.

If this is your goal, you need a 30-30; not a bow

Learn how to hit the vitals and take ethical shots and you blow through a white tail every time! I gut shoot pigs on purpose!

Ethical shots are what you should be doing and if you are looking for something to "punch" thru brush, then bowhunting is not the thing to do. I question why you would even attempt a shot thru what you describe as "thick wait a minute vines," especially at a game animal.

Speed is soooooo over-rated , and used in marketing to sell bows

FWIW , a Daisy Red Rider is still faster than any bow on the market

Get you an omen and a heavy arrow......wait a sec that's actually answering ur question.....let me rephrase that...I've got a cousin who's best friend's cousin's brother in law's little brother shoots 25 lb and gets a full pass through 19.5% of the time so its just foolish of u to even consider any poundage higher than that
