Bunch of carp by the US anti doping fools. If the real organizations that could actually take all 7 of his titles away decided to strip them they couldn't give them to the 2nd-4th competitors in any of the races because they all have tested positive or admitted using PHD's.

He kicked everyones rear and I guess some are still bitter about it.

How about this, let's sit back and watch the news for the next 6 months and revisit this topic when all the cards are on on the table.

          Lance is no quitter.

          He never has been.

He quit this time because they have the nut in the vise.
I think he is taking the high road and trying to keep the USADA from making any more money off him. Plus, it's probably costing him a ton of money in his own legal fees.

this whole thing can only cost him money and only make the people out to get him richer and more well known

he's stepping out of a "no win" situation and I can understand why even someone who didn't cheat would let it go

he's been defending his reputation since 1999 and lawyers have probably cost him a nickel or two over 13 years

I see what you did there......and I dig it!

I also can't imagine what it's costing him to fight this...montarily, AND mentaly. Even Lance only has so many fights in him....and he's riding a mountain bike race tomorrow and running a marathon on Sunday.

While the "I'm tired of fighting them off" reasoning reads well, it's completely against Lances' core.

Lance repeatedly fought his peers in the French Alps and he would have fought off USADA till his last financial breath if he had a leg to stand on.

I also find it difficult to believe that after all this time, they know he was cheating. This all started back in 1999 and he has never failed a drug test. It just seems that people cannot believe that someone is just that much better than they are.

Also, just another example of the government getting into every aspect of our lives and trying to control who they want to be the "top dog".

I'm inclined to agree. I think they have enough to hurt now.

Just the fact that members of his team that helped him win cheated should have DQ'd him. There's no winning without the team in the tour. It is a known unfair advantage.

But that's not enough. They have more.

Does it not just irritate the holy hell out of you, the lengths they are going to just to get him? All the tests, congress, years and years, tens of millions of $$$, and all the rest of it.....and they're still trying to break him? It wreaks of European jealousy to me and it burns me up.

USADA is a non profit non governmental agency. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency is the national anti-doping organization for the Olympic movement in the United States.

Lance should have never participated in the Olympic. That's how they got in this mess.

He sits on my shoulder eating crumbs till 8:30 then growls and goes off to bed. It's a dogs life.
