Tell his guy to come get it and his $900. TBH scammer bashing party. About 10 of us drinking beer in camo, all putting down our weapons and then beating his arse may make him at least jumpy on his next scam.

I put an add on craigslist selling my 14ft john boat. I got a text.from a number from someone asking for my paypal email and they said the would deposite 2900 into my account. I'm only asking 2000. They said the extra 900 is for their agent that would be picking up the boat because they wouldn't be able to come get it due to their nature of work. I then tried.calling the number and after a few rings the voicemail said the Google subscriber is unavailable. I asked the guy to call me and he said he couldn't due to his nature of work? What yall think. At first everything sounded alright so I gave him my email.

Email him that it is a deal but he can wire the money to his agent who can hand the $2,900 over to you in person and in cash when he picks up the boat.

I had the same thing happen with my dirt bike! But I was able to tell it was a scam!

That particular scam has been around for a long time and has received enough publicity that I'm suprised that anyone would even consider falling for it. Just sayin--

Def. a scam. When I sell something on Craigslist it's cash or nothing. Report it for sure!
