I put an add on craigslist selling my 14ft john boat. I got a text.from a number from someone asking for my paypal email and they said the would deposite 2900 into my account. I'm only asking 2000. They said the extra 900 is for their agent that would be picking up the boat because they wouldn't be able to come get it due to their nature of work. I then tried.calling the number and after a few rings the voicemail said the Google subscriber is unavailable. I asked the guy to call me and he said he couldn't due to his nature of work? What yall think. At first everything sounded alright so I gave him my email.

Scam for sure. A friend had her four wheeler stolen that way and PayPal account reversed. Report it and the number to CraigsList.Comment

Scam. Don't do it. Had the same thing happen to me with an ihome. The sent me a check for like $3000 asking me to cash it and take whats mine.out and western union the rest to their "mover" what happens is the check bounces but by the time you realize it you've sent them their money then your screwed.Comment

My brother went thru this.
He got a check and worst of all it cleared de bank.
About 3 days later the transaction got cancelled and the funds where returned. Aparently they where from someone's account.Comment
