      Frankly I am very disappointed.

I ordered 2 to use as blind coolers and they will serve well in that role.

What I am disappointed in is the overall appearance. It appears that there were issues with the roto-molding process as there are multple blemishes. There are rough spots, spots where tiny bubbles were present and misshapen molded hinges. For the price, my expectations were higher.

I support Brute and strongly endorse the large coolers (I have 3) but I may have well spent an additional 20 bucks (I bought 2 of the 20's) and get myself another Roadie.

Here is a side by side of one of the Brutes & my Yeti Roadie for anyone interested in a photo comparison of the two:

Interesting. I have been thinking about getting a yeti or a brute as my truck cooler. Looking at them side by side the yeti looks like a better choice. Is the sides of the yeti thicker than the brute?

I have a twenty, like it just fine, the Yeti is built like a tank, is that necessary for a day cooler ? What is the cost difference ? My twenty was like 90.00 I think.

Does not look like much of a comparison to me. Yeti wins that hands down. Did you say its only $20 more ?

No comparison for sure. I use to have a Yeti Roadi and it was a tank.

I was told by Brute that IT IS a day cooler for light traveling and short trip, etc. It's not intended to keep ice from melting for days. It's just a lighter and more compact cooler designed just for day trips. I personally would want the Brute roadie over the Yeti roadie for day trip just cause it would be lighter and serve it's simple purpose.

I wonder how long it would hold ice sitting in my hot truck all day. I want a small cooler to ride on my back seat so when I'm done riding I have a cold drink. The cooler I have doesnt do its job.
