We are not that far removed from that day. I have never understood how breast feeding has gained so much stigma in our culture.

I can see the benefits of of a child breast feeding until an older age, but I think it is very selfish on the mothers part to bring it into the media.

I mean, this kid has been drinking out of a cup for years, if you really think it is benefitial for your child to have breastmilk then pump and put it in a cup for him!

The US is one of the only cultures that doesn't normally breast feed this long. Common in other parts of the world. My wife stopped when the kids started getting teeth, mainly because it got uncomfortable.
