Where to live in Ft. Worth area?

Moving to Ft. Worth just as soon a my house in Humble sells. Looking to stay within a 30 or so minute commute to downtown. What say the Ft. Worth TBHers? Where should we look and what areas should we avoid?

I currently live in Benbrook. (SW Fort Worth) Just moved from Weatherford. Really liked the Weatherford area.

I live south of Fort Worth In Burleson and have a 25 minute commute everyday to down town. I like it a lot down here but if I was going to move into Fort Worth I would probably look at the west side torwards Benbrook I have always liked it over there, just my 2 cents.

i own a place in azle, its a straight shot down 199 to downtown and eagle mt lake is a nice place to fish and boat, plus its not but a short drive to the country

Depends on what you are looking for. There are a lot of places that are a 30 minute commute to downtown. Do you want land or size able lot? Do you have kids? Do you want to live in a subdivision or not? Do you want to live in the fast lane or laid back place? Do you want to get around with easy?

If you want to be out of Ft Worth proper, I would look west - Aledo,Willow Park, Hudson Oaks, Weatherford.

Weatherford without a doubt. My mom lived in Weatherford. Nice town. Weatherford Cafe is a great place to eat breakfast.
