Darn....and here I like Bill Millers especially with those potatoes of theirs, Oh well, to each his own I guess.

Yes. The coleslaw is great as wel. I compare Miller more to Luby's or something. I never get ribs or brisket. I do, however stop in every once in awhile for a turkey plate with the standard sides....the hashbrowns(fried taters and onions), coleslaw and beans are GREAT. And then there are those self serve all u can eat plain white dinner rolls. MMMMMM. I just dont really even think of it when BBQ is the topic. Decent food though.

Wow....opinions are all over the place on this one....cooper's and hard 8 are bad????? You will rarely find people that say that. I think it is the different style as some people don't like variety. The big chop with the free beans is a thing of beauty. It is the only place I eat sauce...that thin vinegar dipping sauce is amazing.

Worst, huh. Well I have traveled the entire state for 25 years and I would say....IMHO......Spring Creek and the two places in Nacogdoches.

Dickey's used to be good...the original on Central was a Friday night ritual in my teen years. I have not tried one of the many chains around now.

Dickies here in Corsicana is terrible. All there meat is dry, tasteless and barely has a smokey flavor. Portions small. A lot of times they have run out of a meat. Every once in a while, I'll stop by and see if they have improved, but it's a waste of money. From now on I'll go across the steet to Sonic and get a Barbequed sauce Burger. Dickies need to turn in their Texas Card!!

I vote the Bill Miller chains. Their sauce aint much thicker than coffee and the meat has no flavor.

I don't doubt that. Average BBQ in Texas is better than Memphis or any other place in the deep south.
