no ice with that one....what the heck was the 18 wheeler doing? ...was that a flow lane?
Just more proof....18 wheelers usually win.

I'd venture a guess that the driver was texting and got off the main traveled part of the roadway at 70 mph. Of course, I don't know that but it wouldn't surprise me with what you see people doing when they are supposed to pay attention to their driving. Rant over.

It is the shoulder of the road. My guess is the 18 wheeler just lost control or wasn't paying attention and wandered off the road. The pulled over vehicle should have been further over on the shoulder, true enough. But unless they were all the way over on the grass (further than even the officer), it was going to get run over because the 18 wheeler took the whole shoulder. The officer is just lucky he didn't get wiped out too.

I got the first video in an e-mail this morning. I pray that he/she survived and fully healed, but I fear he/she did not make it.

That was terrible to watch. I don't have much experience driving on icy roads and I'm not to proud to admit it.. I was introduced to black ice after moving to Texas. My husband hates the thought of me wrecking again (my truck vs 18 wheeler & concrete barrier on I35 on Christmas Eve 2 years ago) so he insists on chauffeuring me to and from work when the weather is bad.

I didn't know a vehicle could fly into that many pieces..... I would think that the Ibeam frame would have faired better than that... no cabin integrity looked like it was maintained....prayers for those involved that is horrible.
