      So Ragin....this is the spot for an Axis? Sure looks like the same spot as a whitetail?

        ya based off of that thread, the white is where your suppose to shoot and the red is where i was aiming when i pulled the trigger. i had 'double lung bow shot mentaility'

                  Lower and little bit tighter in shoulder but I have killed them with your shot there. It's really pushing the limit of being to far back though IMO. I don't think their vitals are as far in as antelope because that IS a gut shot on nilgai. I shoot them quartered right above the elbow. Axis and whitetail I shoot broadside right above the elbow
