Live trap and a .410 when you open the door.
we trapped lots of them in Centerville. Huge things.
i used a .22 once and the 4th shot finally connected

We killed a huge rat recently moving a blind blown down by storm. Lifted it six inches and then let it fall on him. Overkill?

I just figured out how to download the stored segment of video after motion is detected on our Blink camera's, then upload it to YouTube. Warning- the audio is not suitable for children or use in church.

That was one of my favorite tv shows when I was a kid. Even had the lunch box.

                Keep after it Bill!

Got up this morning, let the dog out and it’s in the Have a Heart trap. Now to decide shoulder mount or a euro and a custom wrist release strap?

Catch a few more and make a coin purse for the wife. You'll be mighty popular around the neighborhood!

                        No picture, sorry.

As I picked up the trap one of the outdoor cats was watching with s “thanks for getting rid of that monster” look on his orange face. The claws on the rat would have done a job on a cat.

It’s in ‘a better place’ now.

Brought a big pack rat home in my Mule that was at the lease all season. Cleaned a basket ball sized nest out under the rear end, had to pull the skid plate to get to it. Then found another nest on top of the engine. 2 nights after bringing it home still found new droppings on the floorboard. Put 2 glue traps on the floorboard with some small marshmallows for bait. Dogs alerted me at 2:45 AM, it was flopping around on the floorboard stuck to the glue trap. It had to be hiding up under the dashboard, behind the fuse box. It’s the only place I couldn’t see. It had started building another nest on top of the engine again also. It was over a foot long with the tail.

I now understand what the expression "a drowned rat" looks like.

                              Sure glad it's gone.

Lease mate found a rats nest in his heater coil on his new to him deer lease ride (used Bronco II). Evening of the second hunt in it, he watched it burn to the ground halfway back to camp.
