Probably best to assume they won't be back, at least Robo for sure until next season.

Stars head coach Pete DeBoer spoke to the media earlier on Tuesday before the team flew out. He reported that Miro Heiskanen will be on the trip, while forward Jason Robertson will not be.

I heard that which is great news. Not sure if he’s skating with the team yet though.

My thoughts are Miro’s health, being it’s a knee injury with surgery, comes before trying to make a return too soon and the teams mind set should be to play without him til next season just like the Robo situation. I’m sure there’s also plenty of deception being used as well.

No way management allows Miro to come back too early when the guy has an easy 10+ years left in the league and a team that’s being set to make consistent year after year runs at the cup.

Id love to see him back as much as anyone but I won’t be shocked if he doesn’t touch the ice this series, especially if the bench keeps showing up to play and winning battles like they did the first 2 games.

I wouldn't be shocked if he doesn't see the ice again either, but right or wrond, EVERY player on that team wants to see Jamie Benn hoist the cup...and the organization does too.

They can do it as presently constructed, but if Miro can go, he needs to go. That's what hockey players do. Bischel is great, and I LOVE his game, but he's a rookie. Blackwell was phenominal, but can he keep that up in the SCPO? Who knows...

Miro is on schedule to be back. He has been skating with the team. He is not coming back early. This is the time frame that was discussed when he had surgery. Robo is not skating and don’t see him being back possibly even if they advance. Supposedly he is not putting much weight on the knee and in a big brace. On the Bischel front, I don’t mind him being physical. The last thing I want him doing is dropping the gloves though. He has had a few concussions and don’t want someone punching him in the head.

You know every person on that team and within the organization wants that cup for Jamie no doubt, especially after the gauntlet they had to make it through last year and letting it slip away from Pavs and Jamie by a lesser oilers team.

IMO unless Miro is 95% or better I wouldn't want him on the ice until its an elimination game or the next series, I say that after seeing what the other guys have done so far this series, being a complete 180 from the last month of play. You aren't kidding about Bichsel, just puts a smile on your face seeing him in a green sweater. If Miro comes back, Petro sits, I don't think they scratch Bichsel especially since it seems there has been no answer for him and CO has shown they will pretty much let him do whatever he wants to whoever he wants. Blackwell is an absolute hustler and has been his whole career, I don't see him slowing down any even though its a long grind to the cup.

One missed assignment but other than that a pretty solid 1st.

Rant looks frustrated, especially after that opportunity he let go right outside the crease. Hopefully it gets him going.
