1 period in the books. No score and survived a 2 man advantage PP by the Avs.

    Hey...it's the little things 🤷‍♂️

The only men’s team sport these days that men can be men.

              LETS GO STARS!!!

Finishing the season with 50 wins after the number of nut kicking injuries they had throughout the season is just an accomplishment in itself.

Missing Heiskenen and Robo tonight has shown. This game should only be 2-1if that. The Avs have been getting a lot of lucky bounces going their way tonight along with Blackwood playing above his ability.

Rant has got to wake up and produce to level of his salary.

Co may have taken game 1 but this has been the MO for Dallas the last couple years. Tonight was a very different team that showed up than what has been on the ice the last 3 weeks. We didn’t get out shot which has been a major problem lately.

Still having late 3rd period meltdowns is concerning.

I hope they get it together. Injuries have been pretty bad to enter the playoffs.

Stars have lost Game 1 in the last eight series. I guess it is part of team strategy. Go Stars.

Good analogy. I'm not in Panic Mode yet and we've endured more than our fair share of injuries. That said, it doesn't bode well for your mental confidence when the last 2 weeks stretch you ultimately are playing the worst hockey you've played in years.

Seems half the team spent a decent amount of time off the ice from injury but that team is pretty dang resilient and still managed to handily set a franchise season record of shortest number of games to 50 wins.

Those big injuries can kill your confidence but once the post season begins that slate is wiped clean and everyone starts from the same place. Avs fans can attest to that, as in ‘22 when they last won the cup, they ended the season just as Dallas has this year where the train came off the rails big time.

Dallas has more depth than a lot of teams but defense is where they can lack at times. That 4th line of Steel, Back, and Bourque played pretty dang well against that 1st line of Co considering the skills/talent gap.

overall, may have been a loss but there was more positive to take from it than negative in my opinion.

The Stars have not lost 8 in a row since moving to dallas. Now they have. They are a soft team. Their defense is terrible. The offense will have to outscore their problems.

Stars need to dig real deep! I still have hope.
