2025 Dallas Stars Postseason Thread

If any of you DFW or Corpus area guys want to watch some live hockey the NAHL playoffs are going on right now and the Brahmas are playing the Ice Rays. Earlier in the season they had an all-out line brawl between the two teams with over 700 penalty minutes being handed out, was pretty entertaining from a casual fan point of view.

I went one game when I was younger and they fought more than they played lol was very entertaining for a teenager.

We used to go to Brahma’s games all the time. Back when they were the Tornado. GREAT fun to watch. Skilled players with not quite enough size, skill, or talent to play Major Junior Hockey in Canada. But good enough to play NAHL. Pretty much equivalent to playing in the Mountain West vs. SEC football. Skilled hockey but brains and emotions of teenagers. All it takes is a cross eyed look to set them off. Greatness. We saw Ben Bishop as a 16 year old.

We used to go watch the Dallas Black Hawks play at Fair Park way back in the 70s. I remember there being lots of fights...kinda reminiscent of the wrestling matches at the Dallas Sportatorium. 😜😜
