Sorry for your loss. Putting the last one down was so painful I haven't gotten another dog.

Sorry for your loss. Dogs are awesome, its people who stink.
You can always count on a dog to be a dog, but never a person to be human.

I told my wife that I’m not looking for another dog anytime soon, but if God has one for me to take care of, so be it.

Thank you for your thoughts and prayers

dr. Herring at the Giddings vet clinic is a great vet. She asked those in tge waiting area to be patient while she helped me.

Chip is now chasing fat slow squirrels. I hope he catches some. Click image for larger version

Sorry about Chip. He sounds like a good boy. I dread the day with my Daisy girl.

Sorry if I missed it, but how old was Chip?? I think the oldest lab I've had was maybe 10.

We put down our 13yr Draht several months ago.

We still got our 6yr old Viz & brought home a 7 week old puppy right before Christmas...bout the only thing that fixes us. Sorry, it's really not fair life spans are so short on certain dogs.

Lost my Dad in late Sept...there is something about getting a new pup & healing the home, even when dealing with the whole world is my toilet. Always has been for me.
